We talk about the shape first
The part that goes wrong in an unfamiliar salon is not the waxing. It's the shape — you sit down, someone starts, and by the time you see a mirror it's already thinner than you wanted.
So we do it the other way around. Your therapist shows you where she plans to take hair from before any wax is applied, and you agree the shape together. If there's a language gap, show her a photo — the same way our guests do for nail art. A photo settles it in five seconds.
Say "just tidy them" if that's what you want.
Removing the strays under the arch and leaving the shape alone is a perfectly normal request, and it's the safest one if you're growing your brows out.
Female therapists, fresh wax
Every waxing treatment at LENA is done by a female therapist, at every branch, without exception — you don't need to request it.
And the question worth asking in any studio anywhere: does the spatula go back into the pot after it touches skin? Ours doesn't. Fresh wax for every guest, no double-dipping, strays tidied with tweezers that come out of the UV sterilizing cabinet like our nail tools.
What happens
- You sit in the styling chair — brows don't need a private room.
- Your therapist maps the shape and you agree it, with a photo if that's easier.
- Wax goes on in two or three small strips per brow. Each strip is about a second.
- Strays are tweezed, then a soothing lotion goes on.
- You check the result in the mirror before you get up.
Does it hurt?
The brow area is thin-skinned, so yes, you feel it — but each strip lasts about a second and there are only a few. Most guests call it a sharp sting that's gone before they've finished flinching. Redness settles within an hour or two, faster if you avoid touching the area.
If your skin is on the sensitive side or you're using retinol, acids or acne medication, tell your therapist. Those thin the skin and change how we work.
Timing it around the beach
Freshly waxed skin is more sensitive to UV for about 24 hours. Da Nang sun is strong, so if My Khe is on the plan for tomorrow morning, get your brows done today rather than at breakfast. The same 24-hour rule covers seawater, pools and hot showers — more on that in our waxing aftercare guide.

Brows don't need the private room — that's for bikini and Brazilian waxing. Pick whichever branch is closest.

Do I need to book?
Walk-ins are fine for brows. Evenings are busiest, so a WhatsApp message ahead saves waiting.
