Which Pedicure to Book in Da Nang
There are five of them on our menu, from 70,000₫ to 350,000₫, and the names do not tell you much. The difference that actually matters is simple: some are nail work and some are skin work. Pick the wrong one and you walk out with tidy toenails and the same rough heels you came in with.
The five, and what is really in each
| Pedicure | Price | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Classic — trim & shape, cuticle care, nail cleaning, light foot massage | 70,000₫ ~$3 | 20–30 min |
| + Basic colour — the classic, finished with regular polish | 130,000₫ ~$5 | — |
| + Gel colour — the classic, finished with gel | 200,000₫ ~$8 | 45 min |
| Exfoliation — cut & shape, cuticle cut, heels scrubbed, dead skin removed, hot towel | 250,000₫ ~$10 | 30–50 min |
| VIP exfoliation — all of the above plus sea salt, sugar scrub, mud masque, massage lotion | 350,000₫ ~$14 | 40–60 min |
Colour is charged separately from the exfoliation pedicures, so you can add gel to either. Full list on the services and prices page.
The one question that decides it
Look at your heels, not your toenails.
If the skin is smooth and you just want the nails tidy and painted, the classic at 70,000₫ does everything you need. If your heels are dry, cracked or grey, no amount of nail work will touch that — you want the exfoliation pedicure.
This is the mistake we see most often. Someone books the cheapest option, we do it properly, and they are still not happy — because the thing bothering them was the skin, and the classic pedicure does not include skin work. It is not an upsell; they are two different services.
Why Da Nang is hard on feet specifically
A week here does more damage to heels than a month at home, and it is a stack of small things:
- Sand is an abrasive. Walking My Khe barefoot is a scrub you did not ask for.
- Salt water pulls moisture out of skin, and you rinse it off with more water.
- Flip-flops and sandals leave the heel unsupported, so it spreads and splits.
- You walk far more than on a normal week — An Thuong, the markets, the Dragon Bridge.
- Sun and air conditioning alternate all day, which dries skin out from both directions.
None of that is a problem. It just means the exfoliation pedicure is a genuinely different proposition here than it is at home in winter.
Pick by where you are in the trip
Arriving, feet already fine
Classic with gel colour, 200,000₫. Gel on toes lasts four to six weeks — toenails are not typed on or washed up with — so it will outlast the whole holiday and the flight home.
Mid-trip, heels starting to go
Exfoliation pedicure, 250,000₫. Deals with the sand damage before it turns into cracks, and you still have days of beach left to enjoy.
End of the trip, feet have taken a beating
VIP exfoliation, 350,000₫. The sea salt and sugar scrub plus the mud masque is the version worth paying for when there is real work to do, and it is a good last-day treatment before a long flight.
You want hands and feet done together
The combos are cheaper than booking separately: gel manicure with exfoliation pedicure and gel colour is 580,000₫ (60–90 minutes), or 680,000₫ with the VIP pedicure (60–120 minutes). Allow the full time — that is a real appointment, not a quick stop.
Before or after the beach?
After. Sand and salt water undo the skin work within a day, so a scrub before a beach morning is money spent on nothing. Freshly applied gel is also better kept out of hot sand for a few hours while it settles.
If you can only fit one appointment in, put it towards the end of the trip. You fly home with it fresh, and gel on toes will still look right weeks later. The same logic applies to timing waxing around your trip, for the same reason.
What to expect while you are in the chair
- Tools come out of a sealed pack opened in front of you — the routine is on our hygiene page.
- Say if the water is too hot or the pressure too firm. Guests often do not, and they should.
- Bring open shoes if you are having colour. Closed shoes on fresh polish is the other classic mistake.
- Evenings are the busiest — see the quiet hours.
Common questions
What is the cheapest pedicure?
The classic at 70,000₫ (~$3), 20–30 minutes. It is nail work only — no heel scrub.
Which one fixes rough heels?
The exfoliation pedicure, 250,000₫. The classic does not include skin work.
Is gel on toes worth it?
More than on hands — four to six weeks is normal, because toenails take far less punishment.
How long should I set aside?
20–30 minutes for the classic, 45 with gel, 30–50 for exfoliation, 40–60 for VIP.
Before or after a beach day?
After. Sand and salt undo the skin work.
Do you do pedicures at every branch?
Yes, all four. Pick whichever is closest to your hotel.
